Keratin is a type of protein high in sulfur and cystine, an amino acid that makes it durable, elastic and insoluble. Keratin is the main protective substance of hair, skin and nails. It is difficult to extract without damaging the cystine or sacrificing its activity.

The First is a shampoo consisting of a mixture of acids combined with hair proteins. Through its interaction with heat, it offers hair straightening.
The active ingredients in The First are three-dimensional organic acids that interact with the cortex of the hair's internal structure.
The shampoo binds to the keratin of the hair and in the presence of acidity and heat causes denaturation of the protein. This is not a continuous process and does not break disulfide bonds, ensuring safe compatibility with other chemical processes and allows denaturation (normal hair structure about 6 to 9 months) The product is available in Greece and Cyprus exclusively from Angelopoulos Hair!
HOW IT WORKS
Its unique biopolymer ingredient is essentially a "liquid form of hair" that blends gently with the hair on your head, both inside and out. It also gives the hair ingredients that have been lost over time. Smaller keratin molecules penetrate the hair follicle, improving and repairing its quality from within.
Keratin fills in the gaps between the skin and the hair shaft and is then sealed with a flat heat iron.
In this way the curls are reduced and strength and elasticity are added, while at the same time the strengthening is achieved as the added weight of the keratin smoothes and tames the curls. Larger keratin molecules coat the scalp externally and protect it from environmental damage caused by factors such as ultraviolet radiation, fog and other pollutants.
